Hi Team. when I try and take a picture the app stops working and goes back to home screen.
Dan suggested to uninstall the app and reload..did that and still happening. I have checked the permissions and they seem ok. when i reinstalled it prompted me to give permission to access pictures. I gave permission to everything prompted. I have sent a feedback message when it happen again this morning. This feature is important to my work so would love to get it fixed.

Matthew,
Thanks for pointing out the problem. We tried to replicate the problem, and with most phones the function worked well. But we identified one phone where the photo function failed, slightly different from the problem you had.
I will pass this issue on to our software developers so we can address the problem.

Hi Dan,
I just tested my old phone - Samsung Galaxy s 4 - The photo app worked fine.
My new phone is a - Samsung Galaxy s 8 +...This is the phone i am having trouble with.
I had to upgrade my phone because the old s 4 kept dropping out when taking measures and couldn't hold battery power more than a few hours using photosynq. I would like to keep using the new phone s8+ with photosynq but i suspect there is an issue with this particular model.
Maybe unrelated but I also noticed the other day that sometimes when answering questions in my project the app stopped during writing answers to questions. I would move onto another question and then scroll back up and re answer the question and it would let me type. Not sure if i explained this well. Basically sometimes it wouldn't recognize my finger. you now how sometimes when your finger gets dry phones dont recognize the typing? Like that. Strange because it a brand new phone and only happens with Photosynq app.

Hi Dan, any luck on finding the issue here. I have a project coming up in three weeks where the picture will be important to the data set. This Brisbane project is to show the power of the platform and I hope everything possible can be collected.
