I took 191 measurements yesterday but still can't find them anywhere to be viewed, checked and analysed. Data uploading to server was informed to be successful after measurements.

Kaija, I looked at your projects and found 192 contributions yesterday on the following project:

https://www.photosynq.org/projects/common-wild-oat-1-without-mask-6187c8d4-ee60-4fe3-b011-a500a37a55c8/explore

Is it possible that you did not refresh your project page after uploading data to the website? The data is generally immediately available on the project page after it has been uploaded.

Hi again and thank you for the reply!

Yesterday I could see those 192 results I asked approximately in the same time you answered my question. Still in the project view there is info only of 92 contributions and text "updated 3 days ago" (see the screen picture I attached). What do you exactly mean by "refreshing my project page" (also in the field with the phone), something like using F5, but how and where?

Today I took about 50 test measurements with mask under new project 20 min ago and the results are not there - and have never been available immediately, 1,5 days has been the longest waiting period. The results page to be opened doesn't exist yet (see the screen picture).

I'd be grateful if you'd also tell me how to delete the extra projects under the same name, which I created by adding some additional questions afterwards.

Kaija,

Are you collecting data using the mobile app on an android phone or the desktop app on a computer? Once the measurements have been submitted to the database they are immediately available for viewing on the website. After you take measurements, do you go to the Measurements tab on the android app and make sure that all of the data has been uploaded? If the data is uploaded, there will be a green check next to the measurement. If there is not a check mark, then you will need to select Upload All from the bottom of the page.

By refreshing the page I mean reloading the webpage.

There is not currently a way to delete projects, but we hope to build an 'archive' function in the near future to allow you to hide projects that are either old or not useful.

Also, I did not see the pictures attached, can you send them to support@photosynq.org?

Hello! I use android phone and mobile app with bluetooth connection. Yes, auto upload has been selected in settings, and yes, there have been check marks inside the cloud symbols, so the uploading to server has been successful according to the info of the mobile app. At the moment I can see the 50 contributions happened 8 hour ago but not the 217 ones measured 2-5 hours ago. I'll send the pictures to your e-mail.

You mean the 217 that were collected today on the following project: Common wild oat 2 (with mask). I can see all of those measurements.

Kaija,

I think I figured out why you are having trouble viewing your data. If you have selected 'auto-upload' and the phone does not have an internet connection, then the measurements get stored on the phone and it may take a while (after reestablishing internet connection) for the measurements to get uploaded. Also, sometimes the auto-upload will only upload a few measurements at a time.

The next time you take measurements can you please do the following: 1. Once you are back in internet range (your office or lab) check the measurements tab to see if the data has been uploaded. 2. Scroll down through the list of measurements to make sure that ALL the measurements have been uploaded. It is possible that only the 1st 15-20 uploaded, and then the upload stopped. 3. If all of the data did NOT upload, then please select upload all 4. After you think all the data has been submitted, check the project and see if it is visible.

Cheers, Dan

Hi again! Today the same delay occured again. I have taken last 71 measurements 4 h ago (project: Common wild oat 2 (with mask)) and still they can't be seen in collected data anywhere. All the measurements have check mark inside the cloud in the android phone app, so data has been uploaded to server. I have also made manual uploading afterwards. How could I receive the data faster? Probably tomorrow it can be seen. The longest waiting time has been 1,5 days.
